| The
Club Championship Qualifiers will be the April,
May & June Medal Competitions and will be based
on the lowest two-round aggregate scores from any
two of those competitions. Gross aggregate scores
will be used to determine the eight 1st class qualifiers
(handicap up to 12) and net aggregate scores will
be used to determine the eight 2nd class qualifiers
(handicap 13 - 24). The 1st & 2nd class club
championships will then be played on Monday 30th
June, Wednesday 2nd and Friday 4th of July 2008
on a match play knock out basis - 1st class on a
scratch basis and 2nd class on full handicap difference. |

| The
tee times that we''ve booked for the matches are
for the convenience of the qualifiers to save them
having to book a time at around 5.30 - 6.00. If
the stipulated time is unsuitable, qualifiers can
arrange a different time provided they play on the
stipulated day (i.e. quarter final on Monday 4 July,
semi final on Wednesday 6 July & final on Friday
8 July) unless Seafield is closed due to adverse
weather etc. Any difficulties or disputes must be
reported to Brian Milligan or Ray Murton as soon
as possible.
Any
qualifier who is unable to play on the stipulated
day will forfeit the tie

| DOUBLES
CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 |
| The
doubles draw will be made at the April Management
Committee meeting. Those members that have added
their names (with or without playing partners) onto
the entry sheet in the clubroom as at that date
will be entered. |
The
Doubles 1st round must be played by 31st may. each
subsequent round must be played by the last day
of the month and the final must be completed by
31st October. The Committee will decide on any unplayed
ties and its decision will be final. Extensions
will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.

ALL TIES MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE STIPULATED DATES. |

EACH PLAYER SHOULD MAKE THE EFFORT TO CONTACT HIS
OPPONENT WELL IN ADVANCE OF THE STIPULATED DATE
- THE SECOND NAMED PLAYER MUST NOT WAIT ON BEING
CONTACTED (SEE RULE 5 BELOW). |

3. BOTH PLAYERS MUST AGREE
A TIME AND DAY TO PLAY THE MATCH PRIOR TO THE STIPULATED
DATE. |
| 4.
IF ANY MATCH IS NOT PLAYED BY THE STIPULATED DATE,
THE COMMITTEE WILL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE CIRCUMSTANCES
AND WILL DECIDE ON WHO (IF ANYONE) PROGRESSES TO
THE NEXT ROUND. |
| 5.
IF BOTH PLAYERS IN A MATCH HAVE MADE NO EFFORT TO
CONTACT EACH OTHER BY THE STIPULATED DATE, THE COMMITTEE
MAY DECIDE TO DISQUALIFY BOTH PLAYERS FROM THE COMPETITION.

6. EACH TIE WILL BE DECIDED
BY 18 HOLE SINGLES MATCH PLAY FROM MEDAL TEES AT
SEAFIELD GOLF COURSE AND FULL HANDICAP DIFFERENCE
WILL APPLY |
| 7.
IF A MATCH IS TIED AFTER 18 HOLES, PLAY WILL CONTINUE
FROM THE 1ST HOLE (AND SO ON) UNTIL ONE PLAYER WINS
A HOLE - THE STROKE INDEX WILL APPLY AS NORMAL IN
ANY PLAY-OFF SITUATION. |
| 8.
IF PLAY IS SUSPENDED FOR ANY REASON, PLAY MUST BE
RESUMED FROM THE SAME POINT ON THE COURSE AS SOON
AS POSSIBLE AND THE MATCH SECRETARY MUST BE ADVISED
ACCORDINGLY.

RESULTS AND ANY DIFFICULTIES, DISPUTES ETC MUST
